Politics aside, anyone that goes to speak at an NRA meeting in a town a week after two kids slaughter multiple students and teachers at a high school is a fucking idiot. You can believe in something and still have tact. Many of these gun nuts are the ones that bitch about "fags throwing it in their faces" (pun intended) and then do the same thing.

Blame the lunch diet on "fiscally conservative" types. Democrats tend to cut education budgets as a final measure, as far as I know. Perhaps this was different where/when you went to school, of course, but from LBJ to the present the 'left' has put a premium on education.

Left wing in Europe/Australia != left wing in North America != left wing in Asia

The difference between right wing politics between regions is where it gets really interesting. While conservatives in the US just love giving any billionaire whatever they want, with Europe you get a variety of people like "let's abolish all taxes" and "kill all non-whities!" and people who are identical to the average American Democrat. The right-wing in each of the Big Three Nations with Dickless Constituents For Politicians of Asia has pretty much complete control, with the left wings being a) hunted down and executed for sport, b) not taken seriously because they don't drink the societal-mandated amount of haterade, or c) being a proxy for North Korea. (No cookie if you figure out exactly what I'm referring to in each example)

In this vein of movies, I would say that I prefer The Passion of the Christ.

However, idiotic debate aside, sad day - a great actor who has been in a number of classic films, he certainly made his mark.
