Saw this on the insertcredit forums today.
Ok, I know Segagaga for the DC is pretty much an inaccessable RPG/SIM (since I can't read Kanji), but I never knew there was an awsome shmup sequence ending to it. Best boss(es) eva!

That was fucking awesome!
I had heard about it before but never actually saw it in motion.
The true final boss should (sadly) be a Dreamcast though...
Thanks for the heads up Dave!

That kick's arse! FUnny as hell at the same time.
Would a Dreamcast would prolly end up being a battleship sequence (ala R-Type level 2).
I was audibly chuckling when the Sonic Rings started making their stage enterance.

Tottally awesome I've heard stuff about this game before but never saw this boss how classic.
Very nostalgic for me,memories of what Sega once was,Although they seem to be making a comeback recently with their new plan to rebirth the American arcade business and all the next-gen games coming from them maybe we will see a Sega rebirth worthy of their glory day's.

Thanks for the info! I never knew about this shmup sequence. I love the truxton bombs on the Genesis sequence.

That was really well made. I had the option of picking up a limited edition Segagagaga box, with t shirt and other stuff, but passed due to the language barrier.
Perhaps I should of bought it.

lol great boss sequence. Though an appearance by Segata Sanshiro during the Saturn transformation would have been icing on the cake
Reminds me of the FFVI final battle parody where all the caracters are different consoles.

The was great! The music was so very Thunder Force. I wonder if it was written by the same crew?

Yeah, that seemed very ThunderForce-ish - besides the obvious music, the animations and paterns seemed very similar to Thunder Force V.

That was great. Pure originality from SEGA. That Thunder Force BGM kicks so much ass too. Cool ship design as well. I really need to get this game.

I just sold my copy of Segagaga b/c nobody I knew could find a translation. Sucks too, seemed so cool, but impossible to play without knowledge of Japanese.
