These images were up for only the briefest of time on Technosoft's site, but I managed to grab them before they vanished. The copyright suggests that it'll be hitting some time this year, and that it'll include a music CD. Maybe it'll use the same soundtrack that was released a while back on the Broken Thunder: Project Thunder Force VI CD.

not to be rude, but honestly the screenshots on the back are god awful. I take it they lost all their graphics teams over the years and have nobody of real talent left, or that's how it looks.

Good joke but the covers should of been made out of a 360, Wii, or PS3 case. Still great attempt!

Heh. Thanks guys. I made those two images some 5-plus years ago, back when some nostalgia got a hold of me for a few hours. Most of it was done right in Photoshop with the brush tool (except the ship, which I drew, then scanned and colored). This "Fool's" idea popped into my head this afternoon when I saw nothing was really being done here, so I took another hour or so, tweaked and added a few things on the original images (which I still had the original PSDs of surprisingly), and put it up for the hell of it.



sideshow- 360, PS3 or Wii? Nah. The Saturn needed a sequel more :lol:


gameoverDude- Say what? Those screenshot mock ups are over five years old, back before I had done any sprite work of any kind really... and they still look better than Broken Thunder ;) :P

If I didn't know any better, I would have probably thought this was a joke from Tecnosoft themselves.
