after reading thread about psykio rip-offs, any games that really do feel similar? Haw about these

Battle Garegga----Cyvern

2nd half Shienryu----Truxton

Strikers 1945 III----Storm Blade

Pullstar----R-Type

Metal Slug----Demon Front----Dolphin Blue?

Can anyone make a longer list than that (like this XXXX----XXXXX----XXXX----XXXX)?

How about games that are not similar to anything?
I think that at some level, Dodonpachi II is very unique (I've never seen so many evenly spaced enemies fly my way for so long- then again, maybe in some PC shmups).

I recently came across a doujin shmup called Blue Wish Resurrection that seems really similar to Mushihimesama. Its seems like it is trying to be a clone in fact. Its pretty awesome accomplishment for a doujin game.

BWR actually is a clone of several cave games, nevertheless a very nice one.
It has Ketsui Score-system, ddp bullets, secret extends/awesome patterns/5 stages/nice music/awesome artwork and a TLB like in lots of CAVE games

Interestingly, MAME says Dragon Breed came three months after SD. Fun stuff. Don't forget to put Syvallion in there somewhere.

On Undead Line, I think there's at least one other Genesis game like Undead Line, but with a cutesy witch instead.
