Tate on HDTV

Post by zukan »

Anyone tried to rotate their HDTV's for tate mode?
I'm very interested in getting a wall mount that could rotate my 37" LCD display for use with consoles.
I wonder though, could it be hazardous for my LCD TV if I rotated it 90˚? I know I can do this with my computer monitor but not sure if all LCD displays support it, especially those intended for TV viewing.

Not in the least bit.

If it has a VESA mount, it couldn't be easier. I personally have a 19" LCD mounted on a rotatable desk mount.
