Wow, this really looks likes my cup of tea...

Old school ftw! :D

Now if only they'd make it available on HARD copy either I'd realy buy this.
The Star Soldier remake for the GC is a fave of mine and I'd certainly like to have this as well...

I REALLY want this game out in the US.

The only thing that sucks is there's just 2 and 5 minute caravan modes, no full game.

That does suck. They better not be pricing this the same as the TG-16 games when it has nowhere near their content.
Of course, that's just an opinion.

Maybe since the game has online leaderboards (which VC games don't have) they might try charging a similar price, despite the game length. I imagine paying anything more than $5 for a 5 minute game would be a hard sell for mainstream gamers though.

Doesn't the NES Star Soldier cost that much?

Dang, I got 800 wii points burning a hole in pocket but it seems the servers are full or something. Whenever I try to get on the shopping channel it gives me some message like "the servers are being updated please try again" . I hope it's not my connection... :?

Wow, had no idea this is out. And I'm out of town for the rest of the week too.

Are you serious there are only 2 minutes and 5 minutes modes? Though I suppose if there were other modes, we would have seen them on Youtube by now.

Am I one of the only regular posters on this forum who has a Japanese system? They're not that expensive. Cheaper than North American systems even, when I got mine. Like nobody was excited or even seemed to remember that Shiki III is on Wii as well as X360...

Yea, at 800 points this game is a rip-off. The graphics and system are a small step up from the GC remake but it is still a five minute game. The rankings are pretty cool. It gives you a rank in the nation and then the prefecture that you select. #3 in Nagasaki-ken baby!

It just upsets me that Hudson didn't go for a full game or even a 10 minute mode. Basically two levels and one weapon. I kind of wish I bought Super Star Soldier or Dr. Mario

I was going to get this, but I don't think I'll bother.

Part of me wants to 'support the cause' or whatever but I know its something I'll only play a handful of times.

The Wii version is going to get an English localization, so I'm waiting patiently...

Ah, did not know about SNS3 US. All I know is that the Wii version has not been added to the hiscore table (or X360 version even, but it gets talked about more than the Wii one).

Back on topic, I am also having second thoughts about buying Star Soldier R. I'll have to take a look at the other WiiWare titles since I could buy one for novelty.

I was going to get this, but I really have never played the 2/5 mins modes on any of the SS games. I have a few of them on VC. I like the main game, and its not worth it for just that mode.

I am so dissapointed, as this was the only Wii Ware game I was really going to get. Maybe Lost Winds, and not FF:CC because its not a real RPG :(
