That really wasn't a Die Hard though, now was it? One could argue the same thing about Daifukkatsu not being a Dodonpachi... other than the chaining.Never_Scurred wrote: I prefer the Die Hards (excluding 4 of course)

AWSOME... but wait I have to get a japanese 3DO. Don't they die easily.....yeah its coming out for the 3DO in august...
OMFG.... I have to flood the thread about faulty systems till I die now.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Good thing there's a Phoenix mod so that when the suicide battery in your Japanese 3DO dies you can revive it.Strider77 wrote:AWSOME... but wait I have to get a japanese 3DO. Don't they die easily.....yeah its coming out for the 3DO in august...

True, but if you can't afford either of those versions I highly recommend going with regular old Donpachi for the Casio Loopy. The d-pad is close to the quality of an SS controller which makes easier getting those higher chains.jpj wrote:the 3DO version loads better, but the CD-i version has better explosion effects

The Grandstand port will have the edge - utilizing two panels at once will be the ultimate Pachi-Etch-a-sketch Danmaku experience.

This may have been posted already so apologies etc...
I was in Mak the other day and they said the DDP5 is due to be the last SH3 board to come out of Cave. After that they are moving to a new board. The board is going to be 15hz (or is it khz?) anyway Low Res.
I tried to ascertain if there would be more pixels on screen but this was lost in translation. They did not know if it was a sequel or original game.

Oh finally! They're moving from 10 year old hardware to, like, 8 year old hardware. :Dill6 wrote:I was in Mak the other day and they said the DDP5 is due to be the last SH3 board to come out of Cave. After that they are moving to a new board.

They've pushed it past the limit back in Mushi Futari. Watch any superplay, almost all the bullet-heavy patterns slow the game down to 30 fps (20 fps in Futari BL's God mode when the screen is covered in numbers after successful bullet canceling).
