RQ: R-Type III The Third Lightning - Stuck..

I'm on level 6 and there's a great big bio-organic wall blocking my path which resists all beam weapons/hypers I throw at it. Any tips?

yeah you have to be inside the dimension hole to get thru it..

are you playing on an original snes? or through an emulator?

i noticed that some snes emulators dont display the 'dimension hole' properly.
