Last Resort - Good old fashioned fun
Thougt I'd have a break from a wall of pink bullets magnetizing towards me, so booted up the Neo Geo gem 'Last Resort', hadn't played it since the mid-nineties and unlike alot of Neo titles its stood the test of time very well, great game, highly recommend it!
Ah, the unit shooting game. I like it a lot. The spaceship level is awesome, where you fly into the innards of it and take out the generators or whatever they are. Good use of the unit required. Yeah, I recommend it as well.

Yeh when it came out I paid what felt like a fortune for the AES cart and then being shocked reading bad reviews about it, saying it was a R-Type wanna be that didn't succeed...LSU wrote:I think it's very under-rated.

necro bump for an awesome game!
Re:
I tried Rezon a while ago, and I have to say I thought it was pretty bad. The way you maneuver your options is just tedious, in Last Resort it feels a lot better imo.lgb wrote:It's like a sequel to Rezon. If Irem themselves did a game for the NeoGeo similar to their shooters, it wouldn't be that far off from this. It's an excellent, game with all the difficulty you need; not too hard, but not too easy either. Relies heavily on memory.
