If you find anyhting ill will be greatly appreciated
Im also considering picking up the USB Stick, its cheap and
worth trying for that price

I figured the "arse end of the world" meant "down under".
Ive actually found that the aussie prices are pretty much in line with the US prices as far as shipping etc.
I saw an hrap2 for $98 with $17 S&H which you could probably add about $10 to $20 for you "down under". AND, it was in stock!
Ill try to find the link again this weekend & send it along.

@Harlequin,
http://www.keepgaming.com/ps2/PS2HORIJYSTK.htm
This is the web site that had the HRAP2 for sale for $99 but it seems they have just sold out.
Maybe you could keep checking back.
Sorry...

I'd personally go with these from MAS Systems
http://www.massystems.com/ProStick.html . I had a set years ago when I owned one of their Supergun set-ups. Looks like they have console support as well. It's already equipped with the HAPPS Controls Ultimate.

Ive seen those & they do look like a good deal even if the tops are not something Id want to look at every time I played a game.
But yeah, Id have a hard look at these too...

Hi Harlequin,
I'm from New Zealand and managed to find myself a couple of sticks for decent prices -- a Hori Capcom Fighting Jam (HRAP with different art) and a modded saturn stick with sanwa parts & a PS2 PCB, each was around NZ$130. If I can find these in NZ I'm sure you will be able to have similar success if you are patient about it.
Check out
trademe , there's a HRAP 2 going at the moment (although the guy wants far too much). There's also a seller named "goph" who regularly sells sticks. You can add him as a favourite seller and get emailed whenever he lists something. If you ask a question on an auction of his I'm sure he'll be able to ship to Australia.

If youre in the market for a HRAP3 with a Sanwa stick theres this option.
$99 with free S&H in the US.
@ Harlequin,
Im thinking shipping wouldnt be too out of bounds but I know you were looking for an HRAP2...
This site sells HRAP2 w/Sanwa sticks but of course they are sold out. Another site to keep on your check back list tho'.

I didnt want to start a whole new thread just for this question as there are so many threads now you cant find anything without deep research. So...
Does anyone make a DC to Saturn &/or PS2 joystick adapter?
Theres Saturn to DC, PS2 to DC, PS2 to Saturn but I cant find a DC to anything but a DC.
Are there any in existence? What would it take to create one?

DC to USB is the only other one I've seen.... I imagine because other than that arcade stick, no one really cares about any other DC controllers.
We here shall not rest until we have made a drawing-room of your shaft, and if you do not all finally go down to your doom in patent-leather shoes, then you shall not go at all.

Yep, same here & I had to look all over hell to find a DC to USB.
This is the totally uninformed asking this question but, can you make a converter/adapter that would make DC to SS or PS2 possible?

If it helps, I use my new HRAP2 to play Mame on both my XP Laptop & My Vista Desktop using this converter.
http://cgi.ebay.com/NINTENDO-64-PS2-N64 ... dZViewItem
and it works fine. Also, I havent had to install any drivers at all...
I could be wrong but I dont see how the HRAP2 SA would be any different...
