ketsui freeze bug

managed to capture the ketsui freeze bug while i was capturing one of my plays (yeah i play like shit in this run, never mind that), its done on a bugfixed ketsui PCB fixed with the ROM from W-O-A.

the bug occurs between stages 2 and 3.

Pure gold. At least the bug didn't kill your run, just maybe was more of a deterence than anything else. Nice slowdown and wave misses against the St3 boss too.

I've never once had Ketsui freeze (non-fixed version), I would say not very often. Unless only the fixed version freezes.

Valgar mentioned getting this (and the stage 5 music thing) on his non-fixed Ketsui. I think he said it stopped doing it once he quit pressing buttons/moving the stick during the between-stage parts.

I've NEVER had it happen on any version.

this is the first time ive ever had it happen.. fixed and non-fixed versions..

ed: thanx for commending my stg3 boss strats anyways, ive practiced thatone quite a bit, took me a while before i could go thru the "waves" on every credit..

It just looks like a slight hiccup in loading stage 3. Never had that happen on my board either, but if it does happen, it's not a big deal. Seeing the title of this thread made me think the game froze and crashed. Good to know that's not the case.
