when I plug in the arcade vga to my computer monitor, it says "out of range".
when I plug it into my standard res arcade monitor, it won't vertical hold, plus looks a bit wiggly and dark, plus the sync light won't light up on my jpac.
Has the card bit the dust? Is there something I can do (especially about it not detecting or working with a computer monitor)?
video card probs -arcadevga
This is a new condition then, I take it?
Give us some more info - is this only in MAME or also at the command line, etc... it could be that you just need to run the card/monitor at a slightly different clock.

We here shall not rest until we have made a drawing-room of your shaft, and if you do not all finally go down to your doom in patent-leather shoes, then you shall not go at all.
It's at the comand line and windows (all the time). I get the feeling that it's set a certain way and won't auto detect or something (by the way I'm talking, you can probably tell I don't know anything about this stuff).
It there a way the card can get programmed to not auto-detect or something?
I used the card with my arcade monitor for years, the jpac I used with it got fried, I'm now just revisiting the avga card and it's doing this.
