Gradius Gaiden vids. What hasn't been done?

Hi. It's one of my favorite games, so I was kickin' around the idea of recording one and finally fighting tviks (and failing) like I said I would, but I understand this game is in the common tier. However, I went hunting for vids and came up surprisingly short on recordings that destroy the game with every ship on high loops.

All my petty google-fu has found:

Lord British - loop 1 - Hardest (doubleplay)
Jade Knight - loop 8 - default
Flachon Beta - loop 1 - default

Can I ask giga-jaded shmups forum to assist with reporting what vids you know are out there and how far they go? And if another one had to come out, what you would like to see? I figured I'd roll out a high-loop Flachon or British unless somebody knows of a recording.



I'd rather not copy what others have done. Or has Gradius Gaiden been replayed into oblivion in your opinion?

I'd love to see more Gradius Gaiden replays but please not some simple loop 1 no miss play again. High loop replays are rare and always very interesting to watch.

I've never seen loop 3 videos of Gaiden, there was Kiken's first loop, someone somewhere posted a second loop video at Stage 6 (the site's no longer there), and Succulla has a loop 8 superplay on Youtube. A straight Vic Viper run on loop 3 of course.

I´d love it when you do some cool shit with the LIMIT shield (that´s the one that makes you invincible for a few seconds, right?).

I'd love to see someone conquer a high loop with the Lord British. That ship sucks! Once, I was playing coop with my friend. He picked the Lord British 'cause it looked cool, and I just thought, "that ship is a trap! noooooooo!!!"
