prices and differences for naomi hardware

just curious...how much does a naomi mobo generally go for.....and the gd-rom attachment....

also what is the difference in price between naomi 1 and 2....and quality difference....ive looked at the specs but that doesnt help me....

also, is there any difference in game compatibilty or will they both run all naomi games....

please explain in layman's terms.....

im mainly interested in this for shikigami no shiro 2 and under defeat....maybe even THE

Naomi 1 mobo £40
Naomi 2 mobo £100
GD Rom £60

Naomi 1 games only run on naomi 1 mobo
Naomi 1 and 2 games run on Naomi 2 mobo

There are not many Naomi 2 games, Virtua Fighter 4 and a few others are Naomi 2, most games are Naomi 1

thanx for the info....i was checking the specs on system16 but it didnt really go into compatibility and backwards compatibility

so even tho naomi 2 is more powerful there isnt much point getting it unless im actually interested in any of the handful of titles for it...or does it actually run naomi 1 games better than a naomi 1 mobo....

also any idea on the availability of shikigami no shiro 2 and under defeat gd roms and approximate costs?

Under Defeat 350$ ?just off the top of my head (no research).
Neither come up on ebay very often (almost never).

Naomi 2 won't play naomi 1 any better.

hmmmm. $150 for shikigami no shiro 2 sounds good....well worth it....although i already have it for DC and PC

I see Naomi stuff on ebay a lot, but it's always parted out. Is it easiest just to grab a complete one with a crappy game?
