I might be back in London for a couple weeks this summer, if the timing lines up I'm in.

For all those living in Toronto, Orbit/Playscape @ Pacific Mall will be getting Progear and Brave Blade pretty soon.

People always told me that Orbit/Playscape was awesome, so I've always wanted to go there. Maybe I'll try to make a trip up there sometime. Thanks for letting us know. ^_^

^^That is another reason for me to go. I knew they had IIDX, but I didn't know which one. I'm working on getting our machine updated or possibly getting a new one, but that won't be for a while yet.[/i]

I thought you were talking about Ontario, CA for a moment and I got excited.

I'll go back to being unexcited now.

Hay, Any lurker/guests from Toronto/Markham/Scarborough, Ontario. Any of you wanna shed some light on who this "FLK" person is? It seems he's owning every one of my scores in Brave Blade. Just today, I saw an awesome 27M score, and I had to beat it w/ a 30M score. :/

Looks like Toronto has some really good people just hidden under the radar.

Last time I was at the Pacific Mall, they had Raiden DX in that little arcade upstairs. Needless to say, I dropped some money on it.

I'll be going back there next time I'm in Toronto(December for the holidays) to see what they have for shooters.

Progear and Brave Blade took its place, like I've said a couple posts above. If you're up for a 15-minute walk (or a 5 minute drive), I could show you a nearby bowling alley that has Blazing Star, Raiden Fighters JET, Cannon Spike, and Zero Gunner 2 (given that it should be working again).

kccttzj: Orbit/Playscape (It's called Playscape, but many of the regulars there still refer to it as Orbit.) only has DDR SuperNOVA, Extreme, Guitarfreaks V2 and Drummania 10th Mix (version difference, can't session). There's another arcade I could probably show you that's like a 15min drive that has DMGF V4, Battle Gear 4, IDv4, Melty Blood, etc. Your call.

What??? No more IIDX? That's very disappointing. It's seems that there are still a lot of reasons to make the trip though, so when I manage to have some extra money and some free time, I'll try to make it up there. What is the name of that other arcade?

Uh.... I was referring to games OTHER than IIDX. It's still there, I just didn't word it right.

Also, other arcade's called Lovegety Station.

We've long had a lot of good players in the city, there's just never been any kind of community amongst gamers up here. In fact the only time I can remember one forming was after the popularity explosion of Soul Calibre II.

Thanks for the tip about the sars mall arcade!, I haven't bothered going there in ages now.

MAME cabinet.

Funland 'ARCADE' [Yonge / Dundas, close to the Eaton Centre] has:

Still in the very back, and 1945's screen is totally fucked. The right side is distorted and the entire screen is discolored.

I would be up for a meet-up, but all I really have is the usual stuff it seems.

X-Arcade stick, PS2 w/ Espgaluda, DOJ, Ibara, Mushi, Gradius V.

PC with more MAME and emulators than you can shake a stick at, etc.

TATE-able monitor. Not that great but it works.
