Egret II Original parts?

Post by NeoBahamut »

Hello

Can anyone tell me the names / part numbers of the original joysticks and buttons in an Egret II arcade machine? I looked on the forums, but couldn't find anything. An instruction manual might do the trick as well...

Thanks,
Jon

After consulting the Taito Egret II Parts Catalog, here's what I came up with:

Note: All info indicated in parenthesis is my wording added to better clairify what parts are located on a Taito Egret II control panel setup... ^_~

Item # -- Parts No. -- Description
-----------------------------------------------------
16 -- M10 00178A -- Joystick Violet (Player 1 Side) Uses Sanwa JLF-TP-8 joystick part

17 -- M10 00179A -- Joystick Dark Blue (Player 2 Side) Uses Sanwa JLF-TP-8 joystick part

18 -- E30 13247A -- Joystick (Mounting) Bracket -- part number is not mentioned in the Taito Egret II Parts Catalog (To mount the Sanwa JLF-TP-8 joystick to the bottom "Control Plate" portion & is part number 2J8B of the Taito Egret II Control Plate Assembly)

19 -- C02 00532A -- Speed Push Button Violet - Uses Sanwa OBSF-30 (Is for the Player 1 push button section)

20 -- C02 00536A -- Speed Push Button Dark Blue - Uses Sanwa OBSF-30 (Is for the Player 2 push button section)

21 -- C02 00535A -- Speed Push Button Violet - Uses Sanwa OBSF-24 (Is the Player 1 Start Push Button)

22 -- C02 00537A -- Speed Push Button Dark Blue - Uses Sanwa OBSF-24 (Is the Player 2 Start Push Button)

23 -- F90 01053A -- Button "Plug" Cover (Is optional: cover up unused player push buttons) - Uses Sanwa part number DP-1187

If you wanted to, you can replace all stock Sanwa joystick/push buttons with Seimitsu joystick/push buttons parts...whatever your preference is: either Sanwa or Seimitsu. ^_~
