Help, will I need a voltage converter for this?

I don't know anything about this, can someone more knowledgeable than me help? I plan on getting this RGB -> Component converter, as I've heard it's brother is one of the best (RGB2C): http://www.keeneelectronics.co.uk/elect ... ycode=APT1
I sent them an email, but haven't got a response. Will I need any kind of voltage converter to power this here in the USA?

Edit: Hmm I just noticed that pins on UK plugs may be different, too.. will I need an adaptor to change this as well?

The adapter is 12V 200mA (or is it 300? the title and description don't agree), it shouldn't be hard to find one that matches. Just make sure the polarity is right. The actual current rating doesn't matter as long as it's above what the device wants.

It says which polarity it is in the pdf manual. Center positive.

That radioshack one is AC output, which won't do. It might work, but I wouldn't risk it. This or this is probably right. Just a matter of finding the right plug. By the look of it the plugs can be reversed to flip the polarity.

Your device wants 12V, 300mA. It doesn't care where it comes from - an adapter from 120V, an adapter from 240V, a generator attached to a bicycle. If you have a stepdown transformer around you could use that with the original adaptor, too.
