So, I just found out that the -5v pin on my Jamma harness isn't connected. My Batsugun runs fine, and I read that 90% of all games work without this -5v thingy.
I know very little about wiring and power, otherwise I'd just wire it right now..
So the question is, is it worth trying to connect this pin? Or should I be fine just leaving it like this.
I'll be getting my Esp II board soon, and I don't want to blow it up because of a hardware problem ><
Jamma -5v question.

Its impossible to blow anything up with -5 not connected. Basically anything on the PCB that runs on -5 will not run, whilst the rest of the game will. This could have all sorts of effects like showing a black screen, lack of audio and other such peculiar output. But it won't do any harm.
From older threads I have read, Double Dragon runs an audio chip from -5, but apart from that I couldn't actually name one game that uses it.
Neo geo MVS has it terminated, Cave games don't use it either. I think you'll be ok.

This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.
