Yeah, it is, although I don't use it in the game because I find it distracting.

Distracting? I find it sooooo much more awesome with the purupuru pack!! I'm thinking of buying a trance vibrator for my PS2 also, since I heard it has something like 4 times stronger vibrations than the DualShock.

The PS2 game is about the price of a new import, I think.

The trance vibrator alone goes for only $18-$22 or so.

I think the puru pack on the DC works the same as the PS2 Dual Shock, so nowhere near as vibratory (is a word) as the Trance Vibrator.

And a shameless plug for the stuff I'm selling on eBay, if you're into that sort of thing.

Hmm... So the RTV for the PS2 does the exact same thing as the force feedback in the PS2 controller/DC peripheral (with regard to vibration and pulses and everything), except at a much more powerful level?

I thought that the PS2 version might have additional programming to provide the RTV with more complex... er... vibrations. Does this also mean that the RTV can be used as additional force feedback for regular PS2 games?

Only curious.

(I'm of course thinking about rigging an RTV to draw power from an external supply, and receive vibration instructions from a Puru Puru Pack, which are, by the way, only about $7 on eBay.)

To be honest; Stuff like this almost makes me wish that I was a girl (but of course, the... grass... only seems greener). It seems like they get more attention in lots of situations, but then again, 80% (or something) of marketing is towards males. Besides; Playing Rez with the RTV must be some serious experience in gaming/sexual frustration.

80% of marketing towards males? Nah couldn't be, woman are the ones who take a mans money and spend it! One item, HANDBAGS seriously woman spend thousands in their lifetime on handbags and dresses they only wear once, cosmetics and hair care.

Men? alcohol sports accquiring woman and entertainment, sums us up.

Don't forget most TV soap operas etc are watched by woman, men too busy at work.

The Trance Vibrator does vibrate a lot more; it does have more complex and powerful rythms.

As far as I kno, the only other game it works with is Space Channel Five Part 2 (it is better with this game than Rez), because you have to programme for it.

It would probably be a lot less complicated just to buy the PS2 port.

You might be right. However, I was thinking that if the device operates the same way as your standard force feedback, then, I could use the hybrid "Puru Puru Vibrator" (ee!) with other games besides Rez on the DC. Not really sure of why exactly, though.

Hmm.

I heard that the Trance Vibrator works with Space Channel 5 on the PS2.

I heard, I don't actually know.

The japanese DC Rez is cheaper than the Euro one, and comes in 100% english. Not one single kanji in the whole game.
