Where can I buy Ether Vapor?

Post by admith »

Well... I was ordering in Himeya a few Doujins including "Ether Vapor", and unhappily, it's out of stock. Do you know where can I buy it? Maybe it was my most desired doujin, but I'm afraid it's too late for me... :?

Also, if somebody has recently downloaded "Steel Saviour" for PC (or much better if purchased an in-box version), I would be vary happy to know where can I do, because I have downloaded the demo version and for any reason, it doesn't work on my computer even when I easily pass the requirements, so I suppose the "buy it now for 9,99$" will not work for me either.

Thanks in advance! :P

Admith, you might want to read through this thread:

You can buy Steel Saviour as download from a Canadian site or order a disc version from Amazon in Germany. Game needs DX8, maybe that's the problem?

loi i must be tired, this time when i read the thread title i thought of a different Ether Vapor.

Ah, devil ether. It makes you behave like the village drunkard in some early Irish novel. Total loss of all basic motor function. Blurred vision, no balance, numb tongue. The mind recoils in horror, unable to communicate with the spinal column. Which is interesting because you can actually watch yourself behaving in this terrible way, but you can't control it.

Thank you very much, guys.

P-HAT, paletweb has ether vapor out of stock too, but I have requested the game, so I hope I can get it. I didn't know that shop, so thanks for it!

Necronom, maybe it's the problem. Actually, I have DX9... do I need to install DX8 to be able to run Steel Saviour?

About the disc version, I have it ordered in german Amazon site, but it seems to be out of stock and I think it won't be anymore. I will try in trhe canadian site, but I woul prefer MUCH more a disc version.

Works fine for me with DX9.0c on XP.

Well, the German disc version is pretty simple - instruction booklet as pdf only and no fancy cover. I guess you should be perfectly fine with the download.
Btw, as unsane already mentioned game runs fine with DX9. "Downgrading" to DX8 is not necessary and also usually not a good idea anyway.

Thanks again.

Finally I could play Steel Saviour with DX9 and XP, but the only way was to replace the .exe file with a no-CD patch downloaded from gamecopyworld. Now I'm playing the full version.

Nevertheless, I keep searching for an in-box version. You know... It's my way of thinking that I must pay for the shmups I play (if it's not freeware), and of course I like to see my collection growing up!
