Though I haven't answered anything yet, here's a puzzle:
Have fun cracking it. :)
[EDIT]
Updated the second part with a more obvious photo. Previous version is
here .
(And no, the fact that both of them are with cigarettes doesn't have anything to do with the game in question.)

No, wtf?
Mine is soooooooooo easy, c'mon.
If mine was a shmup, the difficulty was set on monkey (no, this is not a hint)
I'm still looking for the second answer of my previous raystorm one and this one.

evilevilevil. The first two were fairly straightforward, but the third needed the hint ("a certain type of DNA array"), and then a bit of searching by elimination.
Ray... Den... double crossover
Raiden DX.
EDIT: btw D, is your other answer Raycrisis?

Heh, correct. :)
In fact, the hint would not be needed if you'd searched google or Wikipedia for "DX". And to search for "DX" is something I expected one to do after they get "ray" & "den" right.

No.
This is monkey science
3 screenshots = 3 words
Do you need clues? You can ask me for clues, to narrow the search down.
And what about the raystorm alternative? and no, not ray crisis although I can see that that is also almost reasonable.
I love Ceph's Spy Hunter answer: brilliant!
More people need to compete in this thread, I think the thread title needs changing: Guess the shmup competition.

Spy Hunter or Super Spy Hunter are the correct answers. Another point for Ceph. :)

Remember shmup titles.
If you don't get this right away you need help.
Have fun with this one too!
Some of the best shmups don't actually end in a vowel.
No, this game is not Space Invaders.
