The moment shitty posts started to invade.
"Sooo, what was it that you consider a 'good salary' for a man to make?"
"They should at least make 100K to have a good life"

ARGH

That´s the price for checking the off-topic forum BEFORE the shmups chat. I guess this makes me of those "doesn´t take shmups seriously enough" types.

I thought this was "when the shmups forum started to go wrong" and was ready to share some thought.

Lucky I havent seen shmups chat.

There's a reason why I've decided to mostly browse the highscore and/or strategy sections. Whenever possible.

When I can refrain from looking at the insanity of the other sections.

Like looking onto a car crash.

I'd always look at a car crash. Maybe that's why I'm on here!

Seriously though, as a new poster I have to ask - is it really that bad now and did it used to be that much better?

Is it possible to use such words as "shmups chat" and "good" together in one sentence?

Yes to both questions.

If you have them, then I have a similar pair.
Too many wannabe trolls now.

Also there used to be more respectful discussion, with just the occasional flaming. Now it's abundant.

I'm pretty sure that didn't start here, but with weeaboos in general. Or did you mean shooters in general? Obviously, lolis and other random frilly stuff make everything better, especially Tatsujin.

Also, crazy Garry's Mod-esque TF2 Soldier with a rocket cigar and an actual square avatar should clear Twiddle from the "worst influences of SHMUPS chat" category.
