WTD: Help With FM/Towns Marty Collecting

I have researched this system a little and have seen some games (such as Splatterhouse) that I would love to play, so was wondering if anyone out there could answer me some questions:

Is the Marty 2 the best console version to go for?

What shmups are there?

What are the best and most collectible games?

Well I just spoke to BIG earlier and he came across a splatterhouse for $275.

Only apply if your wallet will back you up!

Shmups on it include viewpoint, Raiden and Truxton 2 among a few others.

Don't know much about the hardware. The games come in big boxes like AES from what I remember. Its more a collectables machine more than anything though.

I don't know anything about either of these systems, but what does "WTD" satnd for? I've always been curious about that one...

I was browsing gamechoiceclub a while ago, and I think of all the collectible systems there, the FM Towns / Marty has the most adult games, even more than PC-FX. Yikes! O___________________O;;;;

I want one too, but the system is so expensive....

yeah, i thought the Marty and its associated computer were home to a library that was almost completely pornography.
