First is this even possible (you can't buy PS2 Component cables on the PS1, it won't work)?
If it is I expect the systems needed to be modded.
I know these three systems (Genesis, PSX, and Saturn) all output RGB.
I can't get a RGB TV ATM and they are more Component TVs in the market right now, so...........
Component on Genesis, PSX, and Saturn
basically the same question was asked here a few days ago

If you want to connect them to a interlaced-only TV with component, use a transcoder. If you have a progressive YUV-able TV, use an upscaler. You can find infos about both in the thread above.

JROK has a RGB+S to component encoder. You can use the RGB output of the Genesis, with sync stripped out of the composite video line.
I just ordered one last week, $85 + shipping.
Won't require any modding to the system itself if you can find a SCART cable for it... but the cable will probably need to be modded.
