Or perhpas you play as an extra life token and have to infuriate the 'player' ship by dodging him and trying to lead him into bullets.

Anyway, regarding Cave releasing yet another donpachi game, I think this might be an attempt to please the players who are getting sick of the whole cutesy hentai thing they've got going on recently. Donpachi makes a sensible choice if their aim is to 'go old-school' again since this is their best known franchise.

This will give the genre a huge needed commercial boost.

This announcement should be celebrated. I guess we are already, with all the goofing around going on in this thread. It seems like everybody's going bonkers.

At this moment I almost love Cave as much as I hate Tom Cruise.

Seriously, I know many of you are hardcore collectors, etc. But I haven't played Mushihimesama Futari, ESP Galuda 2, Death Smiles, Ketsui, Pink Sweets, Muchi Muchi, etc. I think that covers it. So, while it's awesome, it sucks SO badly.

I hope they 'll have of the bugs fixed out on the first release this time. Cave releases have been looking more and more like Microsoft in the past few years.

I suggest you spend some days in Tokyo to fix this

It's the less expensive way.
