Aargh, why did I have to see this. I mean I agree with you 100%, but..
I'll pray that Cave would not make it, because I would be pissed off to no end.
Why? Because I have been working on/off with such concept for 7 years; namely a little girl and furry chinese styled-dragon. We had it as a game concept, playable on Xbox (though you could not dismount) where you ride that balthazar type dragon, and NO DAMN PUBLISHER WOULD TOUCH IT because they just want publish war games/driving games.
No. there are no screenshots. I can't prove it. This is still not considered completely canned project, so owner (housemarque) would not be too happy if I published them here, though I'd LOVE to show them.
But I can show you the girl and a dragon, because I proceeded with the concept as a comic.
here's some info

you can read the whole shebang from here, in english too.

We are still hoping to make it one day, prefereably XBLA or other downloadable game, as stardust HD was quite succesful.

a story that never ends?
With genetic enemy and pattern generators. And abstract vector graphics with bloom. That would rock.

Too many pages. Sorry - that was a really crap joke.Hulkcore wrote:I just want to say, anything Neverending story related needs to be based on the book and not the films. The book is infinitely better than the films.
I second Rockeater as an amazing enemy - a boss even. Perhaps he could even be a whole level.
The Nothing would make a good TLB too. Or even the old guy who runs the bookshop.
Frankly though, I'd be most interested in shooting the title wimpy boy reading the book, and the creepy princess at the end...
