Green and Blue CPS-2 compatibility

I've read it here and there, but can somebody who has done it actually verify that Blue and Green CPS-2 A and B boards are compatible?

I've got a green Progear, and found a very cheap blue motherboard. Not sure if the two would indeed work together. (I broke my green mobo!)
