I guess no shooters for 3 months, and right after I got my new arcade stick
What are you trying to tell me, that I can dodge bullets?

Actually playing with one hand is a lot easier than it sounds, especially for shooters with only 2 buttons. Would make for good practice for Dual/Double play (2 ships at the same time) once your other hand heals.

oh come on, see those things at the end of your legs? they are called feet, now use em (should be doable with an arcade stick, just wash up first with lots of soap, preferably lemon scented).

See!? now you can shmup while eating dinner too

Use your other hand for the buttons and your mouth for the stick. Don't give up on me now, soldier! :D

Yeah - stick with it one handed and you'll be amazing when you return to two handed play...

Thanks for the advice guys. I recently tried it out and it actually works quite nicely (2-handed that is). It's still tender though so it hurts to do it but I imagine I will be back to full force in a couple weeks.
