Pictures of muzzle flash

(no real reason for this post, just though some of you might like the pics)

Spring is here!!! Time to go shooting on the weekends.

Finally got out this weekend and around dusk decided it'd be a good idea to try and capture muzzle-flash with my camera. I couldn't remember how to set my camera for "night mode", but I managed to catch it anyway.

The first two pictures are without flash supressor attached to the barrel (20"). The last one is with a flash supressor (on a 16" barrel). I knew the flash supressor obviously would supress the flash.

hmm...is that an AR-15 or M4 you are using? what types of components do you have on there?

Bushmaster 20" AR15
16" custom built

I have an Busymaster M4 which we didn't try as we figured it would yield the same results as the other 16.

They are all stock for now. Give it another 2 months

He took those pictures at dusk, so it's more like random firing at 8 in the evening. Still kinda weird.
