Boss Rush
Boss Rush has you, the player, running a gauntlet of increasingly fiendish bosses through three different environments.
This is a fairly old project of mine which has been on hold for a while now. None the less I though people here might get some enjoyment out of it so here it is!!
I'd be glad to hear any suggestions or feedback.
Game features:
Five different weapons each with a special attack

Since you guys are a hard core shmup lot I doubt you'll complain too much about difficulty (unless of course it's ever unfair or buggy) but if you absolutely must know the cheats then PM me and I'll dole em out.
I must say I enjoyed it, the oldschool theme, bosses design and that you can select a weapon of choice before fight. Unfortunately I'm pretty lame when it goes to playing on a keyboard, thus I just beat 2 bosses on normal -_-. Would it be possible to implement such a code, that one could use a joystick to play your game ?
I gave it a shot, but I was not sure I was actually shooting anything. I kept firing, and the bullets appeared to go right through the boss, so I stopped playing when I eventually lost all my lives (boss never died).
SiKrAiKeN: While I don't think everyone here -is- a Ninja Turtle, I DO believe everyone here has the potential to be a Ninja Turtle. No doubt.
You need to press x on the menu because if you press z you get to the boss you can never kill,it took me alot of time to figure it out.
btw awsome game!

Oops sorry! Looks like you stumbled on the debug room. Didn't realise that was still active.
So yeah, press X and hopefully you'll have more joy. Will remove the debug room in the near future.
Senshu:
Will also try add some sort of definable Joypad support when I work out how. Hopefully Xpadder etc will suffice in the meantime.
Glad people are enjoying it, I may even get round to finishing this one day.
