Cave remixes query
I have noticed via the shmups radio (perfect listening for work!) That there are like 1 zillion cave remixes. Could anyone offer a partial list (or complete, for that matter) of the various mixes? I would be interested in buy a few of them, so supplementary info on publication details would be much appreciated.

Well I'm not really into Cave soundtracks, but what I have:
[2005] dodonpachi DAI-OU-JOU & ESPGALUDA -Perfect remix- Arranged versions (the ones used in Arika's PS2 ports) by Ayako Saso, Masaharu Iwata, Hiroto Saitoh, Takayuki Aihara, Shinji Hosoe, Takanori Izumi, Keiichi Okabe and Yousuke Yasui.
[2005] Haitenai Densetsu - Mushihimesama Arrange Album Unofficial arranges by MintJam.
Dodonpachi Redbook? Terrible arrange of the first stage.
[2005] Mushihimesama Original Sound Track Arrangements by Hitoshi Sakimoto, Daisuke Matsumoto, Shinji Hosoe, Ayako Saso, Shoichiro Sakamoto, Yui Yoshii and Aiko Wahei.
[2006] Pink Sweets Ibara Original Soundtrack Arranges by Yuzo Koshiro, Ayako Saso, Shinji Hosoe, Masaharu Iwata, Mitsuhiro Kaneda, Kimihiro Abe and Saitama Saishu Heiki.
I also have some unreleased stuff (at least not on CD, afaik) from the chip music scene in Japan. Apparently, there are also Ibara remix tracks in the Lunatic DVD set by Tatsuya Uemura, WASi303, Hyakutaro Tukumo and A' & Namihei

"Bonds of Steel" was handled very nicely on those Ibara remixed tracks, I thought. I like the segue into a chiptune-esque sound halfway through. "Rose Garden" sounds like it came directly off Tsukumo's own Thunder Force V soundtrack, kind of an odd feeling. Still sounds nice, though.

COOL&CREATE did "Cave Love", an arrange of various Cave stuff. One of their older albums, STGxSTG also has two Cave tracks. Cool cover art too.
Rendezvous by XL Project is also all Cave stuff.
Fiori Celesti has an arrange of a track from mushi futari, but it sounds a lot like the original.

That's because WASi303 is awesome. He loves composing in classic 8 and 16-bit chiptune styles. Check out the Psyvariar 2 OST for more remix tracks in that style (actually, the one remix he did of the stage 5 music in Trizeal is also fantastic).Bill wrote:"Bonds of Steel" was handled very nicely on those Ibara remixed tracks, I thought. Oh yeah, I'm a huge fan of Psyvariar 2 OST Plus, along with what I've heard of the first game. Also that hidden chiptune track at the very end floored me! I had no idea he had a a Trizeal remix as well (actually I've got little idea about Trizeal music in general), thanks for the info.
