Nexzr has three difficulty modes, Normal, Hard and ひで~ぜ (hideeze) (="it's brutal").
In hideeze, bullets are very fast and each enemy fires one or more targeted shots at you when destroyed, depending on its size.
If you are looking for a serious challenge, you should give it a try. I wonder if anyone ever even made it past the third level on a single credit in hideeze.
