Greetings shmuppers! I am proud to present my latest game: Harponed. I made it with Torque Game Builder. Unlike most shmups, in this game the enemies don't shoot back. But that doesn't mean it's easy! Science is hard. Let me know if anybody can rank in #1 on the scoreboard as a top scientist.

You need to put in that cheerleader from Heroes as an obstacle.

Press F5 while playing to see top secret debug stuff like collision bounds and forces.

Also pressing F toggles the framerate display.

You need to add black market ships that will upgrade your firepower and an end of game bonus for the pet food and whale burgers.

Honestly, I don't feel like killing these big mammals and then collecting their internal organs as a bonus, but it might be me.

Except for that, great game all the way. I'm waiting for your next creation, maybe more shmup oriented and less dramatic than harpoon.

No, no, no ya got it wrong. It should have been the other way around: a shmup with a whale sporting little dolphin options taking down the whaling ships.

Very good. Now create one called Benediction in which a preacher shoots dogma-rays at children. At first the children might jump around happily, play and wear colorful cothes, and then each child would turn grey once hit, and start walking like a zombie. Some of them might turn into suicide bombers, to be used as bombs. The level bosses could be famous scientists and philosophers shooting deadly "reality rays". There should be different secondary weapons, like judaism, christianity, hinduism, etc. Bonus levels could include stoning to death non-believers and sceptics, burning books and heretics.

I think I would pay for that.
