One day as I was walking about in the snow on new year's eve, I came across an strange proposition. A man was carrying about an xbox 360, and he seemed to be in a rush. He turned to me and asked me if I wanted to purchase it, for the price of $50 I was amazed, and therefore I looked at him doubtfully, and asked him what was wrong with it. He said there was nothing wrong with it. I eventually purchased it for a little over $20, and when I went home, I realized that there was something wrong with it. Either it was:
1. Stolen, which I kind of doubt, since it had a little reading problem.
2. Was going to get thrown out, since the read problem was on the disc.
3. Going to get sold at the nearby gamestop, except he knew it had a problem and decided to sell it to me, and he smelled drunk, so I suspect I might have made a purchase off a druggie/drunk (he smelled a little like smoke and cheap beer)
However it came with a controller, and there was no breakway cable for it, so I essentially have a brick in which I bought a 360 with a bad BenQ disc drive (its fixed now) but has anyone ever found a breakaway cable for the 360 on sale? I've been searching everywhere and can't seem to find them in any game shops at all.
