Yeah, you really don't need to post a new list every time somebody mentions a game or two. Either keep one single post up-to-date by editing it, or make a list after a fair amount of time has passed and all who care to to vote, have done so.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.
I finally got around to trying Soldier Blade. Although the Soldier formula is pretty tired for me now, I'm still finding it rather enjoyable so far. I don't understand why it would be more popular than Zanac, though.

R-Type III: The Third Lightning and Axelay- SNES R-Type- TG-16 Bio-Hazard Battle- Genesis (it's also really the only shmup for the system right now... wtf?)

Well, while the SNES enjoyed shmups from people like Irem, Konami, etc. The Genesis enjoyed shmups from smaller companies that no longer exist, ergo finding the people who have the rights to those games is probably a lot more difficult.

True, but you'd think Lightening Force would've popped up by now since Sega got the rights to do the localization (assuming that's any kind of legal ownership in the US).
