need information on sigma raijin supergun

i'm thinking of getting a supergun, but there are many questions i would like to ask (already done that on other forum). after more research, i've came accross this so called 'legendary' japanese supergun. looks nice enough, but have no idea how it performs. so here are my questions regarding this supergun.

1. how does it display rgb? using a european scart connector?
2. does it support 220-240v or do i need some sort step down converter?
3. what else do i need after getting this monster? any sort of harness or anything? my main goal for a supergun is for shmups, so any shmups i can't play with this thing other than the seibu's ones?

1: It uses the Japanese standard 21-pin RGB connector. It looks like Euro Scart, but the pinout is different. The unit is accompanied by instructions w/ pinouts for making a cable though. They're in Japanese, but easy enough to translate (or have someone here do it). I don't recall the connector on the unit. They use 13-pin DINN for the AV7000.

2: Step Down. It only supports 100-110v.

3: It will come with a Jamma Harness, which will (as you'd guess) allow you to play Jamma Standard games. If you want to play other stuff that use non-standard Jamma connectors, you will need to get a kick harness to accompany your Jamma one. A lot of old Sega hardware require a special harness.

I recieved one of these yesterday. I have to say I don't really like it due to the size but you absolutely can't fault the quality, it's really very well made
I don't think I'll ever buy a homemade supergun again.

1) You can buy a Euro RGB Scart lead from VGI or make one yourself. The video output is an 8pin din.

2)It'll take 220V, you have to open it and flick a switch on the PSU. I've done that and I'm running it on UK 240V with no problems.

GP-Are you sure the AV7000 uses a 13 pin din for the video output? VGI seem to think all Sigma superguns use the same video output.

It comes bundled with a composite lead, I've tested it and the video quality is very good. I believe it will also output S-Video as well with the correct lead.

1) does st-v or atomiswave require any kick harness?
2) any problem displaying atomiswave or naomi games?
