It was far much cheaper than buying an Asian 360 -- oh I also had the Korean Senko no Ronde limited edition with post card set and sold it as soon as USA Senko no Ronde was release.jp wrote:Ubisoft brought Senko no Ronde over to the US.dave4shmups wrote: I've never seen any US-based publisher bring any import online games to US online gaming services, and I doubt UFO would have any luck selling this on a disc in the US market. I want these games over here on XBLA, but I just don't see it happening.
I reiterate:
UBISOFT BROUGHT SENKO NO RONDE OVER TO THE US!
And probably made a killing off of those of us who paid $60 for it.

My point is this:
Its stupid to leave an Xbox360 exclusive in Japan, because the Japanese don't give a fuck about the Xbox360.
ON TOPIC:
Just as with Raiden III being released in USA, I have good feeling that Raiden Fighters will see release in the USA as the Raiden has always been strong in this country. The arcade cabs with shooting games still seen today across the USA are Raiden Fighters games. There is a dirt arcade in a dead mall right here in Livonia that has Raiden Fighters. Many speek of that hole in the wall where the one arcade game they can play is a Raiden Fighters game.
I don't suppose that Jap version will be region free . . .beam wrote:The first pressing will be bundled with a special edition of the inh dvd. .

I think the sound is a bit iffy on one of them. Certainly can't remember anything major.unsane wrote:kennyrh wrote:Yeah, I suppose we should be thankful for that . . .even though they all have issues and lack of proper emulation . . .CIT wrote:Nope. But all three games are emulated in Mame.
What issues and lacks are there? I've played all 3 quite a bit (though not extensively by any means), and didn't notice anything yet, thankfully.
Just going by my MAME32UI which denotes all 3 games as "Video/Sound Emulation isn't 100%" . . .unsane wrote:kennyrh wrote:Yeah, I suppose we should be thankful for that . . .even though they all have issues and lack of proper emulation . . .CIT wrote:Nope. But all three games are emulated in Mame.

True, my bad. Although MS, like Sony, has a formal approval process. Whether on XBLA or on disc, I do hope this makes it out in the US.jp wrote:Yeah, the companies decide whether or not to region code their games. Or rather, the publishers do.
Metal Slug 3's XBLA graphics are filtered and upscaled to hell.RuffNEC wrote:What do you think it will look on a RGB Trinitron CRT TV? I mean in Metal Slug 3 the pixels are filtered... will they use the original Pixels or the washed?
The xbox 360 only supports 640x480 minimum so is it possible to emulate it that it looks like the original?
Was just sitting in the same city as Tigershark about to ask the same thing. Any PAL news anybody?Tigershark wrote:Any further news on whether this will be region free? Play Asia just have big fat question mark next to PAL. I'm surprised at this. Surely people in Play Asia would know. Why can't the developer/publisher inform us? If this will be a Jap only release is there a workaround yet?
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?
