Hori Fighting Stick EX2 for 360

Post by szycag »

Amazon VF5 bundle
I really want VF5 but considering the d-pad on the 360 is garbage I know I'll probably need a decent stick, this bundle doesn't look half bad...

Anyone who's handled one, are they easy to mod? (would probably try to get a seimitsu stick and a button or two in it eventually) I'd probably end up using this stick on my PC too since it leads right out to USB. I have a PS2 Tekken 5 stick which is incredibly hard to mod, and I don't think it's proper Sanwa stick and buttons. Are the buttons and stick on this one Sanwa? I read it's pretty much the exact build of the DOA4 stick that came out for the system at launch.

Unfortunately, it is also a bitch to mod.

Is this pretty much the same case for all of Hori's console sticks? I thought the PS3 ones weren't bad for modding?

Hellish to mod, but all worth it. This is the first american release stick to actually have a japanese button layout (Candy Cab). I wish the Tekken 5 stick had the same layout as its HRAP forefathers, but no cigar.

Bah, I just want a way to use my HRAP on the 360 without having to fork out for a wired controller and a £40 adapter.
