Hmm...Have you seen the animation on Princess Crown? If you'd picked another detail, like background art or colour palette's or something, it would've made more sense.CIT wrote:Princess crown is really nice, but Akumajo Dracula X definitely has better animation.
Look, I don't want to get into an argument about this - I'll say straight off that Akumajo Dracula X is one of the best games ever, and despite PC's charms, it's by far and away the better overall game. Graphically, they've both got their perks (AD X is gorgeous, no doubt!)
But there is little else in recent memory that blew me away like PC did when I first saw it running.
I, as I'm sure many other people did, didn't even realise I had started playing on the first screen cos I thought it was still in cutscene mode.
I've never seen the PSX generate 2D to that level, although I'm not going to say it couldn't perform such feats with some decent coding expertise (cos I don't want to kickstart another riot!)
Ganelon - that is a legendary link dude!

Yes, of course. I own the game, and have played it extensively, otherwise I wouldn't have seen it fit to make the above statement.Skykid wrote:Hmm...Have you seen the animation on Princess Crown?CIT wrote:Princess crown is really nice, but Akumajo Dracula X definitely has better animation.
I don't want to get into an argument either, but I just don't agree about Princess Crown's animation being as good or better as Akumajo's, which I find much more fluid and detailed. If you'd picked another detail, like background art or colour palette's or something, it would've made more sense.

Interestingly I think PC actually has better backgrounds.
