Time attack is a bit rough. Maybe I should just try to play the actual game... yeah...

LGB - 1034054 - 1012 - Type B - TIME ATTACK - Lock On - Speed 3

Shoe-sama, you do not suck. I can barely make it out of Stage 2!

Sorry for the double post, but:

Uo Cat: 1142164 - 999 Men (MAX)

I have no clue how many I got, the counter stops at 999. I only managed to count men for the normal score because that was at 5 seconds left and I only picked up powerups, because at that point I didn't want to waste time getting killed. I think I got 1500 this time.

Uo Cat is insane.

EDIT: Quick experimentation with Poko lead to about 399 men on stage 1, normal mode. Not a big surprise, but this can be improved.

Another very slight improvement:

RGC - 2,256,421 - 1958 - B - 4 - Bomb - 4

Decided that speed 4 is the way to go, and not actually that much faster than 3.

I've not seen any replays of Dangun - just wondered if these approximate stage scores are any good (totals):

ST1 - 235k (330xDM)
ST2 - 1.2m (700xDM)
ST3 - 2.2m (???xDM)

I don't mind looking after a new Dangun thread if no one objects. Or do you need mod/admin status :?:

From what I know, you don't. But you do have to ask a mod to confirm it so they can lock the old one.

EDIT: PM'ed OP and waiting for reply. If he doesn't respond in 3 days, we get a new thread.

They aren't bad at all RGC. YMN's scores in the 7.2 mil replay (speed 4 with Bomb) are:

ST1 - 420xDM
ST2 - 850xDM
ST3 - 840xDM
ST4 - 999xDM (He drops a DM however and ends up with a 850 and 200 chain)
ST5 - 999xDM

These scores are very good, but can be beaten - both venom (Roll) and chtimi (Bomb) scored higher in certain stages when they were playing this.

Cheers for the feedback. :)

I guess it's time I head over to the strat section to find out how to trigger more DM on stage1. I'm bombing as much as possible, as early as possible, but obviously doing something wrong.

I've very much nocticed this. I can get a lot more with say, Type C. B just doesn't snag those random DM from those out of reach enemy pockets like Type C does. Guess I should stick to Type C exclusively. And check those threads.

Btw, is Lock bad to use?

Lock is bad to use, but only from a scoring point of view. Lock is probably the best type for taking down the stage 3, 4 and 5 bosses (first couple don't really count - and are probably murder to milk with Lock).

It doesn't score well on stages because you can't quick kill most larger enemies (Roll and Bomb both do instant kill-ish on most large enemies). It basically means less scoring and harder stages than any other type unfortunately...

For the best 1CC though, I don't know...

freddiebamboo - 3,706,850 - 3081 - B - 3 - Roll - 5

I'm over the moon at this, first time I've ever made real progress into stage 5 - I bombed the hell out of my second last life and then did far better than expected on my last through stage 5.

I doubt I'll improve much on this until I put serious practice into either refining the stage scoring or try the 1CC

EDIT: If anyone has a decent Roll replay, I'd be very interested.

Up:

RGC - 2,474,171 - 2441 - B - 4 - Bomb - 4

Some new personal bests on DM totals too:
ST1 = 376xDM
ST2 = 760xDM

Was really on edge when I reached that welcome 1up on ST4!

If the person has not replied for a while, or has given you the permission to create a new thread, you can make a new one and the nice thing you can do is PM one of the mods / admins and let them know that you have created a new one and give them the URL of the old thread which will make locking the thread much easier instead of having them search for it.

There's no such thing as mod orders. The only thing a mod / admin will do for you is lock the other thread and post up a new URL to the new score thread.

There's no such thing as mod orders? OOOHHH you guys will see if you disobey MY orders

hehe :D

Seriously, LGB pmed me about that matter, and I told him to PM the creator of this thread, and if he doesn't reply in 3 days, to go ahead and make the new thread. This was yesterday.

Today I got a new pm from RGC asking about the same thing, except RGC went ahead and made the thread himself, even though I told him the same thing.

I'd still prefer to wait a couple more days to see if the OP shows up after the PM sent... if he doesn't, I'll be locking this and you all can use the new thread.

Yeah sorry, I'd already made the thread when you replied.

I don't mind if LGB wants to take care of the new thread.

this is easy to do.... don't worry.

if LGB really wants to handle the thread and RGC don't mind it, I'll delete that one so LGB can create a new one. I'll just ask that we wait a couple of days to see if the original poster of this thread here replies the PM that LGB sent.

I can pm you the code so you can copy paste a new one (and Shatter can delete mine), if you want.

Edit: if chtimi-CLA doesn't get back to us. :)

Is the easiest thing not to let RGC's thread stand?

He was the first one to say he'd take it over and it'll be less hassle than deleting and remaking the new thread.
