First of all: FIRST 1CC !!11!
Just 1cc'd Battle Bakraid. Final boss was hard. And yes i know, it's an easy game, and my score was a joke (3m+something). But still, it's my first 1cc (doujins don't count).
Anyway, interesting thing is that i used different button configuration (i have GM1520, with same buttons as PS2 pad) :
A(triangle)-fire
B(circle)-change formation
R2-bomb.
I only used this layout for second time and already 1cc? Must be good.
What's your joypad config?
