Anyone else have trouble clearing the last level? It usually eats me alive.
Some of the best shmups don't actually end in a vowel.
No, this game is not Space Invaders.

The level itself isn't too hard (most of it involves sticking to the far left side of the screen), but the boss is really annoying.

Yeah, the final boss is a complete bitch. The entire game is a virtual cakewalk until you get to the last stage. Then the difficulty ramps up considerably for the stage itself, and goes even higher for the final boss.

I don't wanna even think how many times I was on the verge of 1LCing that game, only to get wasted by the last boss.

anyone notice how this game totally rips off it's stages from other shooters?

I'd have to replay it to remind me of everything but but last resort and darius come to mind right off. A friend on mine, she had seen last resort once and still noticed it in bari arm.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Yes, the game is very derivative. However, Human borrowed from the best. There's certainly some Thunder Force in there as well.

I agree the game was really easy till the last level. I really enjoyed the music in the game. I never stuck with it enough to beat it though.

Yeah, definite TF inspiration. And the progression is awesome: lure you in and just kill you on the final stage.

The blue weapon (satellite bomb) is the best IMO.

It's hellishly strong, but has a shitty rate of fire (great charge shot strength plus penetration, but awkward targeting unless you're fully powered up). The Homing Missile is actually the most well-rounded weapon (ok shot strength, good rate of fire, very strong charge-shot).
