Hi!
I just re-discovered recently the joy of shoot'em'up.. and god.. some of them are so awesome.. But i have a weirdo problem.. dunno if any of you already experienced it..
When i try to play shiki 1 2 or 3.. The control are going beserk.. like something was always pressed on the "uper left" direction.. menu keeps scrolling up.. and in game.. well.. u can imagine what it does.. lol
I tryed using no game pad.. only keyboard/mouse pluged in as a input device and the problem keeps going on.. tryed with my rumblepad 2 ( calibrated it ) and still no go... Also tryed with my USB / psx2 converter and my psx2 controller and still the same issue... I installed the Dx9 version that came with shiki... and im running vista X64
I may not be in the right forum to ask such question.. but my research lead me here for the shmup community.
your problem its weird indeed, since i've played them all in my rigg, with no problems at all EVER... have you tried playin it w/o a keyboard plugged? (use a USB one) maybe somethings wrong with your KB thats botherin the game or somethin... like i said, i've played it countless times even on Windows Vista (on a friends PC) with out problms.
well after numerous tryes installing other gamepad ( like a x360 pad ) the menu still going beserk about that up keys.. but ingame its ok now.. wow.. what a weird problem is that lol.. well.. kinda complicated to navigate menu but at least i can play lol
I had similar problem with MAME and Raiden 3. Every 2 minutes or so controls just locked and ship started going up. I still have absolutely no idea what caused it, but reinstalling windows solved it

Wow, I just remembered that I had this exact same problem with shiki 2. I tried running it and it works fine now so obviously I fixed it, I just don't remember how What did you do to fix the controls in-game, are you using a gamepad now?
Try seeing if your "gamepad settings" (or whatever they call it) in the system settings folder is messed up. It might think you're permanently pressing up-left or whatever. Also might try disabling the device / removing the device in the system menu then reinstalling it. Dunno if this'll help, but it's worth a shot. (har har )
