After playing on consoles, PC's and emulation for too long, I finally took the plunge into PCB's and cabs.

My first PCB purchase: ESPGaluda II

And IlMrm: Congrats on your Egret II purchase with Futari and Strikers 99 PCBs!

For Dirty Monk,

It's good to see another fellow shmupper get into the arcade PCB hobby...and that ESPgaluda II PCB is looking mighty fine. Not a bad way to "dip your toes when testing the water"... ^_~

And what brand/type of arcade cabinet will that sexy ESPgaluda II PCB be placed in?

Nothing too fancy compared to what you people got; I am mainly collecting games I played as a kid :)
They are (in order of purchase)
Commando
Star Force
Bomb Jack
Puzzle Bobble
Metal Slug
Alpha Mission 2
R-type
Splatter House
Blazing star
Saint Dragon
Exerion
Viper phase 1
Hellfire

So now I want only truxton and dragon breed.. rest I'm happy to play via playstation or mame! :)

Matsu was one of my first choices, but someone who lived near me wanted to sell me his spare cab, so now I don't have to worry about shipping. :)

Bought Rastan and Ninja warriors from A|G, and also won another Spelunker on Yahoo japan (only M-board)... all of them are untested so far as i'm not been in arcade mood for some month now.

Between this, Pink Sweets, and a homebrew-enabled PSP Slim, I've got all I wanted, and can get back to putting aside for a rainy day.

I can't believe no one else bid on that. A (nearly) complete MMP kit for like $840 when new kits still sell for $1200+ and show no signs of coming down. That's a great deal.

I saw your post in Trading Station about it the first time, but I waited to see if the seller would drop the price. And he never did. So I decided to go for it.

Have to thank you for the heads up, and markedkiller78 for kindly letting me take it, satisfying my selfishness. Don't think I'll be buying any more games for a very long time now that I have all I want and need.

Picked up a few games yesterday from a friend:

Donpachi
Thunder Cross
The Real Ghostbusters
Bad Dudes
Aurail

This goes along with buying a cabinet again last week. A Sega Astro City that included:

- Warzard
- SFIII New Generation
- SF Zero 2 Alpha
- Super SFII The New Challengers
- Taito F3 mobo w/ Kaiser Knuckle
- Sega STV mobo w/ Baku Baku Animal, Mausuke No Ojama The World, Hangumi Tensei Columns, VF Remix, Dynamite Deka, VF Kids, Puyo Puyo Sun, Steep Slope Sliders, Funky Head Boxers, Virtual Mahjong, AJPW featuring Virtua, Tanto-R, Find Love
- Spawn Naomi Cart
- Capcom vs. SNK Millenium Fight Naomi Cart
- Fighter's History
- Power Instinct 1
- Super High Impact
- Robocop
- Killer Instinct 1
- Killer Instinct 2
- Rockman: The Power Battles
- Jaleco Mega System 32 mobo w/ Idol Janshi Shu-Chi-Pie 2
- Kaneko Super Nova mobo w/ Jan Jan Paradise
- Neo Geo 64 w/ Samurai Shodown 64 and Buriki One
- Survival Arts

The cab and all those games were $500. I think the only game I'm going to keep is Rockman: The Power Battles. I'm currently trying to decide how to go about selling all the other boards, plus trying to get a grasp of what they're worth.

Sonic Wings Special
Nam 1975 MVS
Blaster dedicated Duramold Cabinet..

Basically, the Blaster is my holy grail of dedicated cabinets. Now, I have a dedicated Bubbles and Blaster both in their original Duramold cabs. I am very happy and very broke!

Do you mean Aero Fighters Special, or Sonic Wings Limited? Same game but different region and difficulty settings.

Good correction, I got Sonic Wings Limited. I love the series, but I notice the PCB is much tougher than the PSX one I have. I enjoy the board a lot more.

Not at gunpoint at all. I forgot a few boards as well, SF1 and 2 and maybe some other stuff I can't recall right now. It was a local guy I know who had it and is more of a collector than a gamer. He just lost interest and it was in his brother's house in the basement doing nothing but taking up space. I started asking him if he still had it and was playing it? He's like man I haven't played it in years really. Just turn it on every so often, so I asked if he'd sell it and after about 5 minutes of him thinking he's like ok, you can pick it up this weekend. At first he was like $500 for the cabinet then he's like screw it I'm too lazy to sell these boards I'll just let you have them. Granted I don't want any of them, but they're worth money to someone else I'm sure. Too bad those aren't all shooters otherwise I'd have been jumping up and down. Still a good haul. I'd say it tops when I got 70 US Saturn games including all the rare stuff except Panzer Dragoon Saga for $100. That guy told me US Saturn stuff wasn't worth anything and my eyes lit up, lol. He worked at Funco so he had everything pretty much. I've made probably $600 off of that deal alone.
