How many levels are there in Cho Ren Sha?
Is level 6 the final level? Am I really this close to beating the game? I keep dying at the level 6 boss. I remember hearing somewhere that there are 8 levels, but it just feels like level 6 is the end. Of the first loop, of course. Someone correct me.

7 stages
2nd loop has true last boss and aimed revenge bullets, but otherwise same as first (or, basically you can do 2nd loop if you can do first loop)

There are 8 loops in cho-rensha, with a true boss in every second one. Each loop should be harder (while the 8th one feels alot easier than some previous loops) and gives you more points. Highscores up to 46 million are possible in the last two loops.
By the way the explosion in the beginning of stage 1 is obviously caused by the stage 0 boss, but you didn't kill him when you start playing, zomg time paradox o_O

If anyone is really that interested in the game: http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?t=3189
By the way in case you never noticed through the whole game there reappear bigger versions of weak enemies: The stage one midboss, the big guys in stage two, the big rocket guys in stage 6 and awesome enough you self as stage 0 boss, even with a similiar pattern to your shot (the list might be longer don't know at the moment).
I always wanted to make a big image of all the parts (with nothing destroyed and no stray bullets) of the stage zero boss but I totally lack the editing skills for that (and I'm way too lazy to wait for all the perfect shots
). Anyone up to the job?
[EDIT]: For more replay viewing pleasure: press "g" to fasten the play up, press "f" to slow it down again, if you minimize your window while it's sped up, the replay runs very fast (though you can't see anything ).
