... is they are not afraid to publish even the most horrible fan art.

I've gone through about 30 issues and this has to be my favourite of the horrible fan art:

I'm thinking this is going to end up on one of my t-shirts

I think it´s great. It would have been much better if it wasn´t done with color pencils, but otherwise, it´s got a lot of action in it, and the expressions are quirky.

Most Japanese videogames mags tend to. I don't mean to promote cultural sterotypes but... they're all such good artists

You know, greg says the same thing, and based on Arcadia and a few other JP gaming mags, I have to strongly disagree. I think I've seen just as much JP poo fan art as US.

I have a couple of "Gamest" magazines and there is lot's of fanart in them... mostly very small and not in colour, many are weird but some are really beatiful.
