Subjectively, which are the top 20 best PC shooters (Horizontal or Vertical) that every self respecting shooter fan should play, own or search for?

I haven't played many except for a couple of doujins and The Reap, which is a must-have shmup, imo.

What about that obscure doujins shooter, Broken Thunder?!

I'm having a hard time tracking it down at emule. It must be really crap since no one bothered releasing it!

I would still like to try it out.

And what is: "The Reap"?!

Yes!
I remember a friend of mine back in 1997 playing this V-Point type of shooter over at his house.
It looked so cool and I always wanted to get back to it, but over the years that passed, I completely forgot the title!
