Some time ago (quite a lot of years) I played a PS1 SHMUP on a local arcade and recently I wanted to play it again but I can't find it anywhere.
It was a lot like the Layer Section series. By a lot I mean it featured the same lock on lasers system and the things you collected to upgrade your weapons were some pyramid crystal things. It had some nice 3d graphics, like those on Raycrsis. Actually, I got Raycrisis thinking that it was that one game after seeing some screens.
There were like three or four ships to select, but I only managed to beat the game with two of them, a yellow one with a straight frontal gun, and a blue one that had a scatter gun; of these one featured a small sphere area for the lock ons, and the other had a half sphere but of greater radius.
I remember too that the first boss was a ship similar to the second boss of Raiden 2, and that it reappeared on one of the last levels in a more powerful form.
I really liked that game but I can't remember its name. I searched the xenocide files for PS1, but it isn't there. Maybe someone here know about it.
Thank you
Looking for a game. Help, please.

For JafT,
You might want to pick up an Sega ST-V Titan arcade motherboard along with an ST-V game cartridge of Soukygurentai -- beautiful arcade shmup title playing at 60 frames-per-second arcade spec at it's best... ^_~
The advantage of the ST-V version of Souky over the Sega Saturn CD-Rom version is that there's no loading times and it's instanteous right from powering up the ST-V mobo setup... ^_~
