Help remembering the name of a game
Ok so a long time ago I remeber playing an amazing shooter that was kind of futeristic/fantasty with lots of different characters and you collected magic books with wings to power up. Does this ring a bell for any of you?

Mahou Daisakusen perhaps?
Also, try to be more specific next time. Console game or arcade game? When did you play it? Do you remember any bosses?

Here´s a Dimahoo video. I think it was pretty widespread for a shmup at that time.
FUN FACT: You can´t tell from that video, but Dimahoo has easily the most complicated scoring system ever, which includes timed charge attacks that trigger a ton of different medals.
