Neo Geo CP help
I just recently bought a Neo Geo 4 slot machine (the red wooden style). When I got it all of the controls worked except the player one C button. The CP was really crappy so I decided to replace the buttons and sticks. I took out all of the old controls and replaced the player one side first. I booted it up but none of the controls worked except up on the joystick. I though maybe it was just because I had all of the right side disconnected so I finished it up and the player two side works fine, but B C and D don't work on the left side now. The joystick works and so does the A button. I was sure to label everything and get all of the grounding right, any I idea what the problem might be?

Not sure, but I would use 1 ground for each side.
Also, if your cab uses those microswitches on the buttons with 3 pins, make sure your using the outside ones as grounds. This is definitely a grounding/wiring problem. Check your work again.

This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

I checked it all over again and it's hooked up exactly the way it was before (when everything except C worked). I'm also using the correct pins for grounds. I'm using the old wiring harness that the machine came with. Later tonight I'll follow each individual wire to make sure it's connected properly on both ends, but do you guys think that it's possible that it could be something besides faulty grounding?

It could be something wrong with the board, but I do think that could change as you rewire it, so it's probably something with the wiring or harness. (it's also pretty rare that an input will fail at the board end).
Try and taking a single ground wire and touching it to every buttons lead wire one at a time to make sure they all throw properly, and confirm it's not the board, then troubleshooting or patching will be a breeze.
